    Optometry's Fund for Disaster Relief

Providing immediate aid in the wake of a catastrophic event

Optometry Cares –
The AOA Foundation

As optometry’s premier philanthropic and charitable organization, Optometry Cares – The AOA Foundation is committed to its mission - expanding eye health and vision care access to everyone in the U.S. in order to enhance human performance and quality of life.

InfantSEE®

Due to the overwhelming number of children with eye and vision problems across the United States, Optometry Cares – The AOA Foundation, and The Vision Care Institute™, a Johnson & Johnson company, created InfantSEE®, a no-cost public health program developed to provide professional eye care for infants nationwide.

VISION USA NOTICE

The VISION USA program is no longer providing direct eye and vision care assignments.

If you are in need of a comprehensive eye exam, please contact EyeCare America. Please contact New Eyes if you are in need of glasses. Other resources can be found on All About Vision.

Optometry's Fund for Disaster Relief

Optometry's Fund for Disaster Relief was created by the American Optometric Association in 2005 to provide immediate financial aid to optometrists who have experienced the effects of a catastrophic event. Our goal is to be financially prepared to assist in the wake of the next disaster, so we donate the proceeds from our annual gala to this entity.
